Being a branch museum of Hermitage Museum in Russia, Hermitage Amsterdam displays two permanent presentations of which, one is about the Netherlands-Russia relationships. Located in a classical style building of 1681 called the Amstelhof, the other presentation includes the history of Amstelhof building. Currently being the largest satellite of the Hermitage Museum of Russia, it also hosts temporary exhibitions and it is massive place to hold multiple exhibition and other events like lectures.
