City: Belfast
Description:

Created in the mid-1860s by the Reverend John Moore, this fascinating plantsman’s garden reflects the beautiful natural landscape of the area surrounding it, with trees, shrubs and plants from around the world. Highlights of the garden include spectacular azaleas and rhododendrons, natural Rock Garden Wood, walled garden and wildflower meadows. Rowallane is at its best in spring and autumn, but truly a lovely place at any time of year. The garden is a wonderful place for long walks, and an ideal escape from the regular hustle and bustle of everyday life.
