Founded in 1966 and housed in the Palace of Pedralbes since 1990, the Ceramic Museum of Barcelona holds the most important collection of glazed Spanish ceramic artworks, ranging from XI century to the latest artistic trends. The exhibition showcases some magnificent medieval pieces, among which are the objects in the Mudéjar style from Aragon, Catalonia and Valencia, the bowls and jugs from Paterna and Manises, the tableware from Spain's Golden Age, and collections of works by leading contemporary artists.
