Elvira's Gate (Puerta de Elvira) is once the principal gate to the old city. Elvira's Gate now stands on the edge of a plaza having a grand Moorish-style archway over a local street. The Elvira's Gate is also known as the Elvira Arch, this was one of the historical gates in the city's fortifications.
