Museo Lázaro Galdiano, housed in the former home of writer and entrepreneur José Lázaro Galdiano, showcases works by many of Europe's old masters. The collections include around 12,600 paintings, sculptures, enameled and marble items, silver items, fabrics and weapons from the 6th century B.C. to the early 20th century. In addition to this, the museum houses works from European schools including art works by Cranach, Hieronymus Bosch, Constable and Reynolds. The core section includes Spanish works comprising of Renaissance and Gothic panels along with Ribera, Velázquez and many more.
