A pentagonal lay building, probably an 11th century council chamber. The Domus Municipalis of Bragança is the most visited monument of the city. It is known for uniqueness in the Iberian Peninsula in the Romanesque architecture, surrounding a double functionality such as meeting room and cistern of the municipal council.
