Visit traditional fishing places in Sesimbra, the ancient but modern big cities of Almada and Seixal (closer to Lisbon) overlooking the Tejo (Tagus river), are all quite nice & lovely. Setúbal downtown is probably the place to go if you want to see the best parts of the city.
