Description:
Located on the former site of Air Force Academy, the Boramae Park is an overlooked city park and recreational center with an outdoor air museum displaying 8 Korean fighter jets. It got its name 'Boramae' (meaning hawk in Korean) from the symbol of the Air Force Academy, which is a reference to the Korean Airfield that was once located on the site of the park. This park offers green pastures, playgrounds, badminton courts, tennis courts, an X-game court, ponds, a swimming pool, and gymnasiums. The huge pond is surrounded by willow trees and benches, and people love to spend some leisure time here. There's also a small zoo where birds and deer are raised, and which is fun for children.
