Opened in 1998, Marguerite Bourgeoys Museum shows the work and life of Marguerite Bourgeoys, Montreal's first teacher and the founder of Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours Chapel. The museum also has collections that focus Montreal's religious and historical heritage. The museum houses works of contemporary artists, sculptures, paintings, relics, books and various objects. In addition you can also tour Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours Chapel which is connected with the museum and is Montreal's oldest chapel of pilgrimage.
