Erected in honor of a corporate lawyer by the same name, George-Étienne Cartier, one of the fathers of the Canadian Confederation, this gorgeous monument was originally unveiled during the World War I and then officially inaugurated three years later. The 30 meter high monument is composed of 17 bronze figures placed with granite blocks and is the work of sculptor George William Hill.
