It’s a gorgeous domed building at the southern edge of Downtown. It is the home of the Colorado General Assembly and the offices of the Governor of Colorado and Lieutenant Governor of Colorado. The golden-domed Colorado State Capitol is one of the prominent features in Denver's skyline. The building is made from a very rare stone, Colorado rose onyx, and all the known reserves were used in the Capitol's construction.
