Being former home of Prince Lot Kapu?iwa, the Moanalua Gardens are now a 24 acres privately owned park. Primary attraction in the park is the large monkeypod tree which is commonly known as Hitachi tree in Japan. Moreover, the Prince Lot Hula Festival also takes place in the park, making it well-known among tourists of Honolulu.
