City: New York
Description: Named after the Greek colony of Croton, known for its Olympic athletes, the park is bounded by Crotona Park West, Crotona Park North, Crotona Park East and Crotona Park south. The park is widely known for its variety of tree species, a 3.3-acre lake, which is home to turtles, ducks and fish, and the Bronx's largest swimming pool. However, the manmade structures within the park fascinate the visitors as well, such as the tennis and baseball courts.
