Description: The museum offers one of the largest collections of maritime industry materials in the nation (displayed chronologically), and the main exhibit area encompasses the history of seafaring from the ancient Phoenicians to present day steamship and passenger ship lines. Exhibits include paintings, models, tools and navigational instruments documenting progress from the early sailing vessels to modern technology.
