Pelham Bay Park is the largest park of New York City with lots of things to see and do. The park has baseball fields, picnic area, a parking lot, a playground for children, tennis courts and several trails for biking or walking. In addition to various activities, Pelham Bay Park also has Thomas Pell Wildlife Sanctuary and the Hunter Island Marine Zoology and Geology Sanctuary situated within it. It's a home to variety of wildlife including hawks, raccoon, egrets and coyotes.
