City: San Diego

Named after the Spanish navigator, Don Juan Pantoja, who surveyed and developed the first map of San Diego Bay in 1782, the Pantoja Park is a public park located in the heart of the Marina District of Downtown San Diego. Originally built in 1850, this is the oldest park in the city of San Diego, and features a large grassy area with mature trees, shrub planting, benches and walkways as well as a historic Natal Plum planted in the middle of the park. Large grassy area and mature fig trees make this beautiful park great for pick-up games of all kinds.
