Matthews Beach Park features city's largest freshwater bathing beach. It has numerous picnic spots, a large playground with 10 swings and various slides. During summer, the beach is full of people swimming and playing in Lake Washington. The park has changing rooms, shower for rinsing off as well as lifeguards in the summer.
