Description:

Located in the Belgrano neighborhood of Buenos Aires, this historic museum is dedicated to the history of Argentina, and in particular the Generation of 80 and the life of President Domingo Faustino Sarmiento, a writer and political figure who served as the President of Argentina between 1868 and 1874. The building itself is an Italian-style townhouse built in 1873 and planned by one the known architects of the 19th century, being brought down to Argentina by Bernardino Rivadavia.
