Finsbury Park is an amazing place in north district which grew up around an important railway interchange at the junction of the London Boroughs of Islington, Haringey and Hackney. The park itself is a large important green space in an otherwise densely populated area. It’s a great example of what a park should be: a place that’s used by all slices of the surrounding community. It is a 112-acre oasis in the middle of a hectic patch of north London, with the buzzing traffic of Seven Sisters Road on one side. It’s a true people’s park.
