Being the most centrally located park among Beihai, Jingshan and other parks surrounding the Forbidden City, the Zhongshan Park has some adorable sceneries worth seeing on a visit to the city. Right away from the hustle and bustle of the city, the park gives leisurely feelings when you take a stroll along. It covers a total area of 24 hectares and puts forth a significant example of classic Chinese landscape gardening. Housing numerous trees dating back to more than 1,000 years, it together comprises of a concert hall, pond, rock gardens and peonies.
