Wenmiao Temple was constructed in 1855 and renovated in 1999. This temple is situated at 215, Wenmiao Road and is the earliest architectural temple devoted to Confucius. Inside the temple statues of Confucius are flanked by his followers Mengzi and Yanhui, along with his two favorite musical instruments, set of bells and a drum.
