City: Tokyo
Description:

For many years, the picturesque Iwabuchi Floodgate, or Akasuimon have protected lowlands in the Kita section of Tokyo. The floodgate was designed in 1924 by Akira Aoyama, a Japanese architect who also worked on the Panama Canal. It may be of little interest to the tourists, but surely involves a pleasant walk in a riverside park.
