Description:
Singapore Zoo opened its gates for the first time on 27th June 1973. Comprising an area of 28 hectares, Singapore Zoo is home to more than 2,800 animals. It displays the animals in naturalistic open exhibits with moats, hidden barriers and glass between the visitors and animals. Animals which can be seen here include African Lion, Gemsbok, Gnu, Grant’s Zebra, Meerkat, White Tiger and much more. Singapore Zoo offers various modes of rides within the premises, such as boat, trams, animals, pony and horse carriage rides.
