The Beylerbeyi Palace is an Imperial Ottoman summer residence which was built in 1860. The palace was often used as a guest house for the foreign guests visiting Istanbul. There are 24 rooms and 6 saloons in the palace, which can be accessed through staircase. The floors of the palace are covered with rush matting from Egypt. One of the interesting places in the palace is the reception hall which has a pool and fountain.
