Built by two avid art collectors, Edouard André and his wife Nélie Jacquemart, Musée Jacquemart-André is one of the finest museums based near the Champs-Elysées in 8th arrondissement in Paris. The mansion in which the museum is housed was built by André for his wife Jacquemart and includes large collection of art, manuscripts furniture and paintings from English masters and Italian Renaissance painters. Jardin d’Hiver or the Winter Garden is also worth seeing, featuring marble statuary, double-helix marble staircase and tropical plants, adding to the beauty of this beautiful museum.
