Galerie Eigen+Art, one of the most famous German art galleries, represents and encourages established and young artists working in media such as film/video, photography, painting as well as conceptual art and performance. After the continuous re-building process since August 2012, the Gallery finally re-opened on 23rd February, 2013. The Gallery focuses on artists from the former East Germany and other countries that were once located behind the Iron Curtain. Since its foundation the Gallery works continually with a solid number of artists.
