City: Berlin
Description:

The Neues Museum, which was previously closed for 10 years, opened its doors to the public once again in 2009, and it was one of the most ambitious building projects of its time because of its new industrial construction technologies such as the steam engine. The restored building now provides a new home for the Egyptian Museum and Papyrus Collection, and the Museum of Prehistory and Early History. The most prominent feature of the exhibit is the famous 'bust of Egyptian Queen Nefertiti'. It also houses other artworks from the time of the king Akhenaten.
