City: Rome

Housed in Villa Giulia, the National Etruscan Museum is dedicated to Etruscan civilization. It houses a priceless collection of Etruscan antiquities from Southern Etruria, Latium and Umbria. The objects displayed here show the life of people before Rome was founded. Amongst the objects, the most popular is the monument known as "Sarcophagus of the Spouses" which dates back to 6th century.
