Gran Hotel de la Ciudad de is also known as "Centro Mercantil" which is located at Av 16 de Septiembre 82, Centro Historico, Mexico City. This building was built in 1899 and it was once a luxurious shopping center after that it converted into a hotel in 1966. The lobby of this place was featured in the film "Frida".
