This is one of the most beautiful parks in Denver, encompassing the confluence of Cherry Creek and the South Platte River in Lower Downtown. It’s known to be the area where gold was discovered in 1858 by William Greeneberry Russell. It was because of the discovery which led to the founding of Denver. It’s an ideal summertime for many of Denver’s residents.
