Description:
The Saadian Tombs have been a major attraction for visitors in Marrakech because of their beautiful decoration. The monuments are made of Italian Carrara marble. These tombs were constructed in the late 16th century during the reign of Sultan Ahmad al-Mansur; but were discovered in 1917 and restoration began thereafter. Most of the tombs have been arranged in two separate mausoleums. Graves of soldiers and servants can be found outside the building.
