Considered as one of the greatest European museums in its field, Musée de l'Imprimerie has primary motive of conserving, valuing and enhancing the rich heritage of documents and books. Inaugurated in year 1964, it was established in city of Lyon as it being a centre for printing and book trade in Europe during 15th and 16th century. Works from early printers of Lyon are showcased elegantly in the museum and it also shows the beginning of western printing from 15th century.
