Description:

The renamed Rome Zoo, one of the oldest in Europe, founded in 1911. Bioparco is on the edge of the Borghese Gardens, a short, well-signposted walk from the Gallery. It remains open from 09.30 to 17.00 or 18.00 depending on the month. They try hard, but San Diego this isn't. If you are a regular zoo visitor you will be disappointed.
