City: Singapore
Description:

Situated on Sentosa Island, Fort Siloso was built in 1880 to protest the port as the trade in Singapore flourished. It was part of Singapore’s coastal defense along with Fort Connaught and Fort Serapong. The fort was restored and opened as a museum to the public. The museum houses the city’s largest collection of World War II memorabilia. A tram takes visitors on a journey through history of Singapore’s war history.
