City: Malacca
Description:

This 18th century Dutch architectural convention church is the oldest functioning Protestant church in Malaysia that has gone through several changes under the governing of different colonials. It bears all the hallmarks of a Dutch architecture: a rectangular plan, massive walls, Dutch roof tiles and red granite plinths. The floors of the church incorporate various tombstones with American and Portuguese inscriptions as paving blocks and inside, there are beautiful handmade pews and huge overhead beams holding up the roof.
