Description:
Situated at the foot of Bukit China, King's Well is believed to be the oldest well in Malacca, which was built in 1459 by the followers of the Chinese Princess Hang Li Poh during the reign of Sultan Mansur Shah. It is said that the King's well has never dried up even during the severest of drought, and is well known for its purity. However, it has long since been converted into a wishing well where visitors can throw coins and make wishes.
