The Lower East Side Tenement Museum is five-story brick tenement building which served as a home to around 7,000 people between 1863 and 1935. Museum's exhibitions are dedicated to these immigrants from over 20 nations. The guided tours of the museum help visitors to discover stories of the families that lived in this building. Lower East Side Tenement Museum also has a collection of historical archives as well as offers various educational programs.
