A small but interesting museum devoted to Egypt's most sensational political assassinations and murders, along with the murder weapons in some cases. The National Police Museum is a huge building with small windows, which were once used by the archers and decorated with simple old Islamic arabesque. It also showcases the 40 cells in which the political prisoners were detained and tortured in the late 1950s.
