Located in the Citadel of Cairo, Mohammed Ali Mosque is an Ottoman architecture which is highly recognized as one of the famous architectures among tourists of Cairo. It happens to be positioned in such a way that people get to see the architecture while entering the city, no matter from which direction you are entering. It construction was completed in 1848 and it has dominated the skyline of Cairo since more than 150 years.
