Yacoubian Building: Built in 1934, the Yacoubian Building was considered as one of the luxurious buildings of that time. Though being one of the many European style buildings in downtown Cairo, the best seller novel as well as the famous movie has significant impact on popularity of the building. Being Art Deco style architecture, it was named after its owner Hagop Yacoubian.
