Amsterdam Historisch Museum till 2011 and now known as Amsterdam Museum, is dedicated to the history of Amsterdam. Located in old city orphanage since 1975, the museum takes you through extensive history of Amsterdam right from its tiny settlements in early days. Providing a detailed history of the region, visitors can see various religious objects, porcelains and similar history related objects in the museum. Visitors get to learn about the use of bicycle in that age, the then drug policies history of Dutch trading and so on.
