The Naturhistorisches Museum or Museum of Natural History of Vienna is among the largest museums in Vienna, with the displays covering an area of 8,700 square meters. The museum houses a collection of about 30 million objects which is growing. The history of earth and variety of nature can be viewed here. It has precious stones, minerals, huge dinosaurs, rare fossils, unique prehistoric findings such as the skeleton of Diplodocus and the Venus von Willendorf.
