Built in 1870, Sri Krishnan Temple is dedicated to Lord Sri Krishna. The temple was established when an idol was set up under a banyan tree by a person known as Hanuman Beem Singh. The temple is a harmonious symbol of multi-religious and multi-cultural society in the city. It also features an altar which is dedicated to the Goddess of Mercy known as Guan Yin.
