Opened its gates to public in 2009, Singapore Coin and Notes Museum is the only museum in Singapore dedicated to the currency of the city. Consisting of two floors, the museum showcases the evolution of Singapore’s currency from 1800s to present day. One o f the floors feature the cultural usage of coins and a video presentation on how a coin is made. On other level, visitors can view ancient currencies, history of currency used in Singapore as well as the coins of today.
