Opened in 2008, Marina Barrage is a dam built between Marina East and Marina South. This award winning dam provides water supply and flood control. Marina Barrage It also acts as a tidal barrier helping in keeping the seawater out and alleviate flooding in low lying areas. The water in the Marina Basin is used for various activities such as windsurfing, boating and kayaking.
