Süleymaniye Mosque is the largest mosque situated in Istanbul. The interior of the mosque is 59 meters long and 58 meters wide. In addition to the prayer hall and courtyard, the mosque complex also includes a public kitchen, caravanserai or seraglio, a bath-house, a hospital and a Qur'an school. There is a beautiful garden behind the mosque, which features tombs of Süleyman and his sultana Roxelana.
