Valens Aqueduct is a Roman aqueduct and is one of the most important landmarks of Istanbul. This aqueduct was completed in 4th century but was restored by various Ottoman Sultans. The aqueduct is 971 meters in length and 28 meters in height. Valens Aqueduct served as a source of transporting water to the city of Istanbul.
