Built in 1348, the cylindrical Galata Tower was the tallest structure in Istanbul for centuries. The tower, which still offers the panoramic view of the city, can be seen from every corner of the city. There are two elevators inside the Tower, which take visitors to the top of the tower. The upper floors feature a panorama balcony and a restaurant-nightclub which offers traditional Ottoman and European cuisine.
