Dedicated to the Turkish military history, Askeri Müze is based in Harbiye, the neighborhood of ?i?li and is the site of Ottoman Imperial Military Academy. Also called as the Military Museum, it gives a chance to explore the history of military change and development from the past to the present through the 5,000 objects on display. The collections include military uniforms, emblems, flags, medals, shields, armored shirts, paintings and various types of guns along with other highlights from Turkish War of Independence, World War I and Battle of Gallipoli.
