Once a church, later a mosque and now partly a museum, Fethiye Camii Müzesi or Fethiye Mosque Museum is based near Çarsamba neighborhood of Fatih district. The museum is a significant example of Palaiologan architecture of Constantinople. Dedicated to the Byzantine era mosaics, the museum houses mosaics from the 14th century inside the dome and the interior walls of the parekkleison along with some frescoes.
